As the October sun warms our Tuscan hills, the olive harvest begins - a tradition we treasure here at Podere Sole. Each olive, in shades ranging from bright green to deep black, is carefully gathered by hand to preserve its flavour and character. Within 24 hours, these sun-drenched olives are cold-pressed to create our organic extra virgin olive oil - intensely green, smooth, spicy, and full of life.

For the next few weeks, we’ll be out in the groves together, working in harmony with the land, guided by our commitment to nurture this place and capture its essence in every bottle. We look forward to sharing more of this journey and the taste of Tuscany with you!

We began the harvest season in the Podere Sole vineyard this week by gathering part of our Pinot Nero, picking about half a hectare at 16° Brix for a local winery’s sparkling wine. It was hard work, but as we moved through the rows, we were reminded of the abundance our land offers and the deep gratitude we feel for being able to cultivate it.

Every step of the journey - from nurturing the soil to promoting biodiversity - reflects our commitment to sustainable farming. We blend tradition with innovation, guided by biodynamic principles, to honor this land we love. We began the harvest season in the Podere Sole vineyard this week by gathering part of our Pinot Nero, picking about half a hectare at 16° Brix for a local winery’s sparkling wine. It was hard work, but as we moved through the rows, we were reminded of the abundance our land offers and the deep gratitude we feel for being able to cultivate it.

Every step of the journey - from nurturing the soil to promoting biodiversity - reflects our commitment to sustainable farming. We blend tradition with innovation, guided by biodynamic principles, to honor this land we love.
